A Certificate of Veteran Status is a document given to either Veterans or Reservists that qualifies them for some of the lower down payment loans insured by FHA. In order to qualify for this document


you must serve at least 90 days of continuous active duty. The certificate can bo obtained by submitting forms dd 214 (seperation or discharge papers) and 26-8261a (request for certificate of veteran status) to your local VA office.
